Chelsea have sent a €10m offer to Cruzeiro for talented Brazil under-17 midfielder Felipe Morais according to reports.

Scouts from all of Europe’s top clubs will no doubt be in attendance as they look to discover the future stars of the game.

The teenager is currently playing for Brazil at the under-17 World Cup, and it’s believed Morais, who’s been described as a “stunning” player has caught the attention of Chelsea scouts.

The Blues have three youngsters representing England at the tournament in Reggie Walsh, Landon Emenalo and Chizaram Ezenwata.

Signing the best young talents from around the world has been a huge part of Chelsea’s recruitment strategy under the Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital ownership.

Chelsea have heavily targeted the South American market, with Estevao and Andrey Santos now part of the first team set up.

It now seems they’ve set their sights on Morais, and according to insider outlet PH Cruzeirense the Blues have sent a €10m offer for the 17-year-old.

The report adds Morais has a €100m release clause, and the bid was to just to test the waters, whilst Barcelona have also asked about the youngster.

PH Cruzeirense state Cruzeiro want to keep the youngster for the time being, and expect his value to grow with more first team minutes.

Chelsea sign Deinner Ordonez

The Blues have already agreed a deal for one of Morais’ Brazil under-17 team-mates Denner, who will join the club when he turns 18.

Chelsea have also secured the signing of 16-year-old Deinner Ordonez, and the centre back will join the club in January 2028.

It likely the Blues will target more of these type of signings over the upcoming transfer windows as they look to future proof the club with top young talent.
