The Blues have been linked with Nottingham Forest defender Murillo, whilst they’ve also been linked with midfielders Kees Smit and Noah Sadiki.

The report adds that may change if any injuries occur or unexpected opportunities appear, with the focus on next summer.

It’s been reported Chelsea are targeting a midfield signing next summer, with the Blues looking to ease the workload on Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo.

It’s believed Chelsea could also move for a centre back, but that’s dependent on how Levi Colwill returns from injury, whilst the Blues also have Aaron Anselmino and Mamadou Sarr on their books.

January is always a difficult window to buy in, but it feels like doing nothing could be a risk for Chelsea, but only time will tell.
