Thursday’s reports claim that Juventus CEO Damien Comolli has postponed several meetings with club employees this week ahead of a round of decisive talks with owner John Elkann.
Comolli’s future at Juventus is in doubt after just one season in Turin, as the Bianconeri look set to miss out on Champions League qualification for 2026-27. The team find themselves in sixth place, two points shy of the top four and requiring favours from multiple teams heading into the final round of Serie A fixtures this weekend.
Comolli’s transfers from last summer have not impressed, particularly Lois Openda and Edon Zhegrova, there have been suggestions that he does not see eye-to-eye with head coach Luciano Spalletti and there has been criticism of his decision-making and leadership qualities.
Both Spalletti and Comolli are due to meet with Elkann immediately after the 2025-26 season comes to an end, on Tuesday specifically according to the latest updates.
Thursday’s reports from Tuttosport claim that without Champions League football next season, Comolli’s position at the helm of Juventus will be untenable, but that the decision ultimately lies with Elkann.

Tuttosport also claims that Comolli has postponed a series of meetings, firstly with the scouting department on Monday and then a general meeting with the club’s employees on Tuesday, ahead of his decisive talks with Elkann next week.
Thursday’s report claims that this is all pointing towards an ‘inevitable’ scenario where Comolli leaves the club after one season in charge.
