Giovanni Leoni and Koni De Winter are among Inter Milan’s top targets for the remainder of the summer transfer window.
According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInter1908, the two deals are not mutually exclusive.
Giovanni Leoni would be a dream target, but he costs too much.
Indeed, Parma have pinned a prohibitive €40 million price tag on the 18-year-old’s shoulders.
Therefore, Inter have identified Genoa’s Koni De Winter as a fallback option.
However, the Belgian’s potential arrival will not rule out Leoni’s acquisition.

Leoni’s talent is well-documented.
Widely considered among Europe’s finest talents, he could be the next big thing to come from Italy’s factory of defenders.
Therefore, the Nerazzurri are eager to sign the Parma gem before some European heavyweight swoops in to steal the deal.
Meanwhile, De Winter’s versatility would allow Inter to land both players.
Unlike Leoni, the 23-year-old can play as a full-back, which is similar to Yann Bisseck.
With the German likely to leave San Siro, De Winter could arrive to fill the void.
As such, it would leave space open for Inter to pursue Leoni next summer.
