According to French outlet Media Sportif via FCInterNews, Risser remains one of the candidates to replace Yann Sommer next season.

Despite his loyal service in the past three years, Yann Sommer will wave goodbye to Inter in June.

Indeed, his contract runs out at the end of the season, with the Nerazzurri already deciding not to offer him a new deal.

Meanwhile, they have identified Tottenham Hotspur ace Guglielmo Vicario as a perfect candidate to fill the vacancy between the sticks.

However, the 29-year-old won’t come cheap, with Spurs slapping a substantial €30 million price tag on their wantaway star.

Although Vicario sits at the top of Beppe Marotta’s shortlist, Inter are monitoring several other goalkeepers.

In addition to long-term targets Marco Carnesecchi and Elia Caprile, they’ve recently set their sights on Risser.

Widely considered as one of the best shot-stoppers in Ligue 1, Risser has caught Marotta’s eye this season.

Indeed, he has registered ten clean sheets in 28 league appearances for Lens.

However, it’s worth noting that his contract at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis expires in 2030.
