Sassuolo could complete a double swoop for the outgoing Inter Milan duo, Aleksandar Stankovic and Sebastiano Esposito.
According to Tuttosport via FCInter1908, talks between the clubs are underway.
Despite being rejected by Tajon Buchanan, Sassuolo plot a double raid on the Nerazzurri.
Indeed, fresh off securing a swift return to Serie A, Fabio Grosso’s men are seeking reinforcements.
Meanwhile, Inter are keen to offload numerous fringe players, including Stankovic and Esposito.

Aleksandar Stankovic is at the top of Club Brugge’s list to replace AC Milan-linked Ardon Jashari.
Furthermore, the clubs have already agreed upon a €10 million transfer fee.
However, disagreements over a buyback clause threaten to undermine the deal.
Therefore, Sassuolo see their chance to hijack Stankovic’s transfer to Belgium.
In addition to Stankovic, Grosso’s men are targeting Espostio.
Put on the market, the 23-year-old is waiting for tangible offers.
Indeed, Cagliari and Fiorentina have moved to the head of the queue.
Yet, both teams have struggled to convince Inter with their bids, opening the door for Sassuolo to jump in.
