Having failed to secure a move a way last summer Disasi spent six months in the “bomb” squad, and only featured for the development side.

However, he secured a deadline day loan move to West Ham in the January window, and has made a good start to life at the club.

West Ham to consider permanent Axel Disasi move if they survive

Disasi has made seven appearances so far for the Hammers, and has played 90 minutes in their last five league games, with the club now only in the relegation zone on goal difference.

It’s no secret Chelsea are looking to sell Disasi on a permanent basis in the summer, and Standard Sport have reported West Ham would consider signing the 27-year-old if they stay in the Premier League.

The report adds West Ham have been impressed with the Frenchman, but would expect the price to be dropped from the £38.6m Chelsea paid Monaco in 2023.

Standard Sport state the finances required for the deal would be to great if West Ham were to get relegated to the Championship.

Chelsea looking for new centre back

Whilst the Blues are looking to offload Disasi, they are reportedly still in the market for a centre back in the summer.

Chelsea missed out on Jeremy Jacquet to Liverpool having pursued the youngster for the majority of the January window.
