Report reveals the current plan that Barcelona have in mind for Hector Fort | OneFootball

Every player’s case at FC Barcelona is unique and requires a different kind of attention. The Catalan club is full of talented players, but they all have different needs and situations. At the moment, not every Barcelona player is guaranteed a prominent role next season.

Several players are expected to lose some level of prominence next season due to new arrivals or certain changes to Hansi Flick’s plans. One player who is most certainly going to feature a lot less if he stays is 19-year-old Hector Fort.

That is why, as per Mundo Deportivo, the current plan for him involves loaning him out to another club to guarantee minutes. For now, that remains the recommendation from Barcelona, as they continue to have faith in the player’s potential.

Instead of seeing him waste valuable time on the bench, Barça wants the player to have a temporary spell somewhere else so that he can continue his development. At Barcelona, that is simply not possible right now due to the presence of Jules Kounde and the emergence of Eric Garcia as his primary alternative.

Reportedly, Barcelona do not want to permanently lose Fort and continue to have faith in him. In terms of an overall holistic view, moreover, the club seems to think that the squad is now complete and no more arrivals are being considered. Departures, on the other hand, could still be assessed if certain conditions align that suit the club.
