Premier League new boys Sunderland are interested in a shock move for Chelsea defender Axel Disasi according to reports.
The Blues are set for another busy summer and have already signed Liam Delap for £30m, whilst they are closing in on a deal for Jamie Gittens.
Chelsea face a critical window and are looking to sign a centre back, left winger and versatile forward to strengthen Enzo Maresca’s squad.
Whilst incomings are important, outgoings are vital this summer and the Blues have a number of players they need to move on.
Disasi falls into that category having joined from Monaco for around £38.8m in 2023 ,and the France international spent the second half of last season on loan at Aston Villa.

The 27-year-old made ten appearances for Unai Emery’s men, and it’s thought Villa are keen to sign Disasi on a permanent basis.
Newcastle and Saudi side Al-Ahli have been linked with a move, but according to The Sunderland Echo, the Black Cats are interested in a shock move.
The report adds Sunderland are monitoring the situation and would be interested in a loan move, with Chelsea said to value Disasi at £38.5m.
Disasi isn’t the only centre back who could be on his way out of Stamford Bridge this summer, and as many as three could leave.
Reanto Veiga is expected to depart, whilst there are question marks over the future of both Trevoh Chalobah and Benoit Badiashile.

Chelsea are reportedly still in the market for a centre back, despite the arrival of Mamadou Sarr and have been linked with Jorrel Hato, Jarrad Branthwaite and Marc Guehi.
It would seem the Blues are ideally looking for a left back who can also play centre back, and Hato fits the bill, although Arsenal are also interested.
