Inter Milan midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu is reportedly ready to pledge his future to San Siro amid rumors linking him with a move to Galatasaray. 

According to Tuttosport via FCInter1908, the Nerazzurri will meet the player’s agent Gordon Stipic to discuss a contract renewal at the end of the season.

Hakan Calhanoglu has been the cornerstone of Inter’s midfield since joining the club from AC Milan in 2021.

Furthermore, the 32-year-old has been a key element of Cristian Chivu’s setup this season despite several injury setbacks.

Indeed, the Turkey captain has made 20 Serie A appearances, netting nine goals and three assists.

Therefore, it’s no wonder that Inter are ready to offer him a new deal.

Hakan Calhanoglu Keen to Sign New Inter Milan Contract

Calhanoglu’s current contract at San Siro expires in 2027. Moreover, Inter are reluctant to risk losing the Turkish ace on a free transfer in just over 12 months.

However, Calhanoglu’s proneness to injuries have forced the Nerazzurri to put extension talks on hold.

Indeed, the star midfielder suffered five muscle injuries in the 2024/25 season. Additionally, he has already had three separate spells on the sidelines this term.

Nevertheless, the player wants to stay in Serie A and is ready to put pen to paper on a new contract.
