Reports of clashes and flares on the Munich U-Bahn have clouded the hours before tonight's Bayern v PSG Champions League semi-final second leg at the Allianz Arena.

RMC Sport reports that a physical altercation broke out between supporters travelling to the stadium in Munich.

PSG fans were said to have been harassed by Bayern followers on a train and ultimately forced off the carriages as smoke filled the compartments, prompting an evacuation of the U-Bahn.

Police arrived swiftly, and officers ordered the Parisian ultras to leave the station.

About 15 PSG fans were reportedly pursued by around 60 masked German supporters, some wearing red balaclavas. A large-scale police operation was launched to contain the situation and prevent further escalation. No injuries or arrests were immediately reported.
