Returning Barcelona star ‘will start many games’ next season | OneFootball

An insight into the plans of the coaching staff at La Liga giants Barcelona for the returning Marc Bernal has this week been provided.

This comes as the 18-year-old continues to inch towards an imminent return to competitive action.

Youngster Bernal has of course been sidelined since all the way back in August of last year.

As much comes after the Spaniard, fresh off establishing himself as first-choice in Hansi Flick’s midfield, suffered a devastating sudden ACL injury.

The engine room talent has spent close to a year since working tirelessly towards recovering full fitness.

And in the case of Bernal managing that, he could be in line for an altogether prominent role in Barcelona’s XI over the season ahead.

As per a report from Diario Sport:

‘Bernal should be one hundred percent in September, with the season already started, and the idea is that he will play many games as a starter if he maintains the level of last season.’
