Inter Milan chiefs Beppe Marotta and Piero Ausilio have never prioritized a move for Atalanta star Ademola Lookman despite constant transfer rumors.
According to FCInter1908, the Nerazzurri executive had other priorities in mind during the summer, namely Manu Kone.
Though Inter spent the best part of the summer chasing Ademola Lookman, his arrival was never a top priority.
Indeed, Inter had other ideas as Cristian Chivu immediately outlined his ideas after taking over from Simone Inzaghi.

Negotiations with Atalanta were slow and often frustrating, given La Dea’s reluctance to sell the Nigerian forward.
Therefore, Inter dropped their interest in the 27-year-old midway through the summer.
Furthermore, they soon shifted their focus toward Roma midfielder Manu Kone.
However, the Giallorossi refused to negotiate the Frenchman’s exit despite substantial financial problems.
Therefore, Inter decided to purchase Lens starlet Andy Diouf for a reported fee of €25 million.
Yet, Inter could soon renew talks for Kone, with Roma now forced to offload the 24-year-old star.
