Inter Milan have a clear plan for striker Francesco Pio Esposito in Serie A next season.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInter1908. They report that the 19-year-old could be playing for either Spezia or Bologna in the top flight next campaign.
At the moment, Pio Esposito is on loan at Spezia from Inter.
The 19-year-old is in his second on loan with the Ligurian club.
While last season had been an important one for Pio Esposito’s development, as he took his first steps in the senior game, this campaign has been a different matter altogether.
Pio Esposito has enjoyed a real explosion in front of goal.
The Inter-owned striker has scored nine goals in Serie B. That puts him behind only Cesena’s Christian Shpendi in the division’s scoring charts.
Considering the form that Pio Esposito has shown in Serie B, it is abundantly clear that he is ready to make the step up.
That will happen next season.
According to Tuttosport, Inter already know that they want to loan Pio Esposito to a team in Serie A next season.
The only question is whether or not that team will be Spezia.
Should the Ligurians win promotion to Serie A, then in all likelihood, Esposito will stay there for yet another season on loan.
On the other hand, however, if Spezia fail to win promotion, then Esposito will join another team in Serie A on loan.
According to Tuttosport, Bologna would have a strong interest in the 19-year-old’s signature.,
