Serie A heavyweights Inter Milan had spent most of the January transfer window trying to bring PSV Eindhoven veteran Ivan Perisic back to San Siro.

Despite entering the autumn of his playing career, Ivan Perisic emerged as one of Inter’s top priorities.

However, PSV never had any interest in offloading the former Tottenham Hotspur winger.

Even with the Dutch Eredivisie title in the bag, Peter Bosz’s men quickly turned down Inter’s approach for the 37-year-old.

Indeed, only a substantial offer would’ve changed PSV’s minds, but Inter were not ready to shell out a sum matching Perisic’s value.
