Roma, awaiting Tony D’Amico’s official announcement, is evaluating potential offers for its players, given the need to make capital gains by June 30th.

Among those most closely watched is Manu Koné, who will be a key player for France during the World Cup.

This is quite a showcase. Inter have been interested in the Giallorossi number 17 since last season, but no offers have arrived at Trigoria in recent days.

The French midfielder has also been in the sights of Atlético Madrid, who have made moves to sign the 2001-born player, but Roma have put up a wall.

As Il Romanista reports, the Spanish club has made a total offer of €45 million, but the Giallorossi’s response was firm: no, the figure isn’t enough.

This is a message Roma is sending to those interested in the French midfielder: a more expensive offer is needed to convince the Friedkins to sell a key player in Gian Piero Gasperini’s tactical plan.

If it were up to the Grugliasco-born coach, none of the core players who helped him secure third place and thus the Champions League qualification would be worth selling.

No one is unsellable, but Roma wants to sell players on their own terms, without cutting corners.
