In a week that will go down in club retail history, Liverpool’s new era with Adidas has begun with a thunderous statement. The release of the 2025-26 home and away kits has already smashed previous sales records, showing just how powerful this partnership is turning out to be.
Liverpool’s newly released kits, designed by Adidas, have become a global sensation. The club confirmed that more home and away shirts were sold in the opening week than ever before. In fact, home kit sales alone were up more than 700 percent compared to last year, with fans from 150 countries placing orders.
The club’s online store has been the driving force behind the sales, accounting for 80 percent of total purchases. Meanwhile, the refurbished flagship shop at Anfield had its busiest week ever, timed perfectly with the launch of the new kits.
Supporters can now get their hands on the new designs through LFC’s official online store, international club shops and the LFC Store app. Both the home and away kits are available in short and long sleeves, offering fans more options than ever.
This launch has not just been about numbers. It’s been about identity. The new Adidas kits blend advanced performance technology with Liverpool’s historic DNA, bringing fresh life to the iconic Liver bird.
To mark the occasion, current stars like Virgil van Dijk, Mohamed Salah, Ceri Holland and Curtis Jones appeared in an Alice in Wonderland-themed launch video. They were joined by club legends including Sir Kenny Dalglish, Ian Rush, John Barnes, Robbie Fowler and Jamie Carragher.
The video and accompanying teaser content have racked up over 40 million views, while the campaign has delivered 17 million engagements and 423 million impressions across Liverpool’s social media platforms. No other Premier League side has come close to this level of engagement for a kit launch this season.
One name has stood out above the rest since the launch. Summer signing Florian Wirtz is the current top seller for personalised shirts, but he’s followed closely by fans paying tribute to Diogo Jota.
Many supporters have chosen to print ‘Diogo J. 20’ on their new Liverpool shirts. All proceeds from those sales will be donated to the LFC Foundation, which has announced plans to create a grassroots football initiative in Jota’s honour. It’s a heartfelt gesture, one that turns a simple kit into something far greater.
The partnership between Liverpool and Adidas is already rewriting the script. With Arne Slot leading the Reds into the 2025-26 season as reigning Premier League champions, the energy surrounding the club is electric. This kit launch has only amplified the momentum, setting the tone for what could be another unforgettable chapter in Liverpool’s story.
