West Ham have a knack of upsetting things in north London and this weekend could prove no different.
Despite the Hammers sitting in 19th place at present after a disastrous start under Graham Potter, the fact we now have Nuno at the helm is breathing belief that another upset at the Emirates could well be on the cards.
On paper in terms of league position and performances thus far this season, this really should be a straight forward win for the Gunners, however there is most certainly an anxiety in north London that West Ham could once again rock up and disrupt their campaign.
It’s now 2 seasons on the bounce that West Ham have come away from the Emirates with all 3 points, in fact it was again when Arsenal were flying and our Hammers were certainly not considered a team to be overly concerned with.
Then there is the Declan Rice factor, who has demonstrated, especially at the Emirates, that he doesn’t particular enjoy playing against the club he loves and considers his real home.
This game, although on paper should be a nightmare, could actually be the perfect occasion for Nuno to continue the uplift he is brining to the club. Could it be 3 seasons in a row for the Hammers spoiling the Gunners plans? It could very well be.
