Rick consolidates second spot as Corinthians exit Copa LNF with 4-1 loss | OneFootball

Corinthians' futsal side lost 4-1 at São Lourenço in the Copa LNF last 16 on Saturday afternoon, yet Rick's goal consolidated his hold on second place in the club's scoring charts this season.

The match was staged at the Ginásio Poliesportivo do Centro de Educação Infantil Municipal in Santa Catarina. According to Meu Timao, the pivot has seven goals in 20 appearances, behind Maicon on 10 from 18.

Rick opened the scoring a second before half-time, drilling in low and seeing the ball pass between the goalkeeper's legs and over the line.

The hosts hit back after the break, turned the game around and won the tie, which ended Corinthians' run in the competition.

Rick sits ahead of Fabinho, Lucas Martins and Renatinho, all on five. Kevin William has four and left the club last month, with Fellype Bancatelli and Igor Bredof on two apiece. Kaio Lopes, Vinicius Paiva, Papagaio, Caio Barros and Da Bonja have one each.

Attention now shifts to the Paulista. Corinthians visit MX7 Diadema on Tuesday in the sixth round of the Paulista.
