Roberto De Zerbi ‘open to joining’ Tottenham, five-year deal talks expected | OneFootball

Leeds United’s rivals Tottenham are back in the market for a head coach amid fresh movement around Roberto De Zerbi.

According to Sky Italy, the former Brighton and Marseille manager is open to joining Spurs immediately, with talks expected to begin immediately over a five-year contract.

De Zerbi had been linked but was thought to be waiting until next season after leaving Marseille in February.

Tottenham turned to ex-Juventus boss Igor Tudor after sacking Thomas Frank, but Tudor departed on Sunday by mutual consent after taking just one point from a brief spell.

A 3-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest before the March international break left Tottenham fourth-bottom, only one point above the dropzone and three behind 15th-placed Leeds.
