Agents frequently pitch clients to Flamengo given the club’s profile, and Robinho Júnior was among the latest names offered. The Rio side chose not to move forward.
Paparazzo Rubro-Negro reports that the 18-year-old winger was presented by his representatives, and that Flamengo decided not to advance negotiations.
The Santos forward is the son of Robinho, a former Brazil and Santos player. He has been with the club since 2015, when he was seven, and received his first opportunities in 2025.
He has yet to score for Santos despite 20 appearances for the team led by Neymar. Even so, he has already attracted interest from European clubs ahead of the next transfer window.
Flamengo are well stocked in wide areas, with Everton Cebolinha, Samuel Lino, Luiz Araújo, Gonzalo Plata, Bruno Henrique, Jorge Carrascal and Lucas Paquetá among the options.
The club could still return to the market soon to strengthen the squad. Gonzalo Plata is viewed as a negotiable target after recent internal events at the club.
During the FIFA break, Flamengo return in April to face Red Bull Bragantino away in the Campeonato Brasileiro. Leonardo Jardim’s side kick off in Bragança Paulista at 21:30, Brasília time.
