Rodrigo Caio to join CazéTV as World Cup commentator | OneFootball

Rodrigo Caio will work as a World Cup commentator for CazéTV on YouTube. According to Coluna Do Fla, the former Flamengo defender and assistant to Filipe Luís will join the channel’s tournament coverage.

He won the Libertadores with Flamengo in 2019 and 2022, and was an assistant for the 2025 triumph. He left the club after Filipe Luís was dismissed in March and is studying for CBF coaching licences.

CazéTV have also lined up Romário, a four-time world champion, and Nenê, the former São Paulo and Vasco playmaker. Nenê remains active with Botafogo da Paraíba in Série C, and it remains to be seen how he will juggle both duties because the third tier continues during the World Cup.

Rodrigo Caio and Nenê will provide co-commentary and appear on debate programmes. Romário will work as a reporter covering Brazil’s national team.

The channel had already announced more beat reporters, with Djalminha set to follow Argentina and Ricardo Quaresma assigned to Portugal. The World Cup starts on 11 June across the United States, Mexico and Canada.

Flamengo will have players with Brazil, Uruguay, Colombia and Ecuador.
