Roma 6-0 friendly victory sees Malen and Dybala on target | OneFootball

Roma beat Serie D side Trastevere 6-0 in today’s friendly test, with Donyell Malen and Paulo Dybala already on target in the Dutch international’s first game.

The Giallorossi were in action against their own youth team, but this was the first match of pre-season against a genuine opponent.

It was also the first run-out of the summer for Malen since participating in the 2026 World Cup with the Netherlands, and it took him all of three minutes to open the scoring from Devyne Rensch’s assist.

Evan N’Dicka also had his first appearance of the campaign in defence.

Dybala added a second set up by Bryan Cristante, and the Italian midfielder scored himself from the Malen assist.

Wesley also thumped the woodwork before Luigi Cherubini completed the 4-0 rout after 35 minutes.

It was a completely different starting XI for the second half, and this version won 2-0 with goals from Angelino and 17-year-old talent Antonio Arena.

Robinio Vaz and Niccolo Pisilli were out injured, while Matias Soule was rested.
