Roma is preparing for the summer transfer window with the goal of providing Gian Piero Gasperini with a more competitive squad, rich in attacking options.
Among the players being monitored by the Giallorossi is Gonzalo Garcia, a young Real Madrid striker who could leave the Blancos in the coming months.
According to Diario AS, the Spanish club has already mapped out the future of their attacking lineup: they will firmly focus on Endrick, who is ready to return to Madrid after his loan spell at Lyon, and will consider selling some players with less playing time.
Garcia is reportedly among them.
Despite promising signs during the Club World Cup, Garcia has so far received little playing time and could choose a new destination for more consistent playing time.
Roma is closely monitoring this situation, seeking out young talents to develop in their new coaching project. However, the Giallorossi aren’t the only clubs interested in the player.
Juventus and Como have also expressed interest, ready to sign if Real Madrid make an offer.
Much will also depend on the future decisions of the Spanish club, which is still busy finalizing its coaching management for next season.
If the green light for his departure were to be given, Roma could have a concrete opportunity to strengthen Gasperini’s attack.
