La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Paulo Dybala and Roma are close to agreeing to a new contract until June 2027.
Roma star Dybala is expected to remain at the Olimpico for one more season, signing a new deal with the club until June 2027.
La Joya’s current agreement expires on June 30, but the two parties resumed contract extension talks weeks ago and hope to strike a deal in the coming days.
La Gazzetta dello Sport newspaper reports that Dybala has already returned to Argentina after the end of the season, while his agent, Carlos Novel, has remained in Rome to continue negotiations with the Giallorossi.

Ryan Friedkin is expected to return to the capital in the coming days to meet with Dybala’s representative.
According to the report, Roma and Dybala have discussed a one-year contract extension with a salary between €2m and €2.5 m, plus add-ons.
Roma coach Gian Piero Gasperini is confident that Dybala will remain in the capital for one more season, playing in the Champions League with the Giallorossi in 2026-27.
“I think he’ll stay and I’ve never had doubts about it,” Gasperini said after Sunday’s 2-0 win over Verona.
“We had struggled because we missed him for three months, and it wasn’t even entirely up to him. I managed to put him in contact with the Friedkins, and I can’t do more than this.”
