Roma deny any Inter approach for Pisilli | OneFootball

There are now only a few hours left, after which the summer transfer window will finally open, and Gian Piero Gasperini’s Roma are ready to work to strengthen their squad and make it competitive ahead of the Champions League.

Among the most talked-about players in recent weeks is Niccolò Pisilli, who, according to some rumors, is of interest to Inter.

According to Matteo Moretto on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel, however, there has been no contact between the Giallorossi and Nerazzurri management regarding the young Under-21 midfielder.

This doesn’t rule out the possibility that in the coming weeks, should the Nerazzurri fail to close the deal for Liverpool’s Curtis Jones, the deal for Pisilli could come to fruition and Inter could submit an initial offer to Roma.

It should be emphasized, however, that the Roma player is currently at the heart of Gasperini’s project, and the manager had already intervened last winter, blocking his possible departure and establishing him as a key player in the Giallorossi midfield alongside Koné and Cristante.
