Roma eyeing Pellegrini’s replacement in Sam Steijn and Angel Gomes | OneFootball

Roma are already planning their summer transfer market.

Giallorossi sporting director Florent Ghisolfi is said to be prioritizing the role of the attacking midfielder which is currently occupied by Lorenzo Pellegrini.

Pellegrini’s future, however, is unlikely to unfold at Roma.

A farewell that is not yet certain, but increasingly possible.

Pellegrini was recently linked with the likes of Napoli, Inter and Milan.

As a result, Il Tempo writes that Roma have shown interest in players who could cover Pellegrini’s position.

The two young talents the club recently showed interest in were Twente’s Sam Steijn and Lille’s Angel Gomes.

Additionally there is also Feyenoord’s Paixao – a long-time target for the Giallorossi club.
