Roma inquire about Evann Guessand | OneFootball

Roma’s pursuit of a winger continues.

Among the players sporting director Tony D’Amico has inquired about is Evann Guessand, as reported by TeleRadioStereo.

The Ivorian striker, fresh from the World Cup with his national team, is on the sidelines at Aston Villa.

Since January, he has been playing for Crystal Palace, where he won the Conference League, and after the World Cup, he returned to Birmingham.

The London club, in fact, has decided not to sign him on a permanent basis. He is not part of Unay Emery’s plans, having recently embraced Garnacho.

Roma, for now, have limited themselves to gathering information on Guessand.

The 2001-born player can cover all attacking roles, so his profile is one that Gian Piero Gasperini wouldn’t mind. At Crystal Palace, he played both as a backup to Matera in attack and as a winger.
