Roma are seeking additional reinforcements ahead of the second half of the season.

Gian Piero Gasperini has been clear in his demands to the Giallorossi management: the manager wants 4-5 signings to strengthen various areas of the pitch.

One of the areas Gasperini has addressed in his meetings with sporting director Frederic Massara is the midfield.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, Roma have inquired about Genoa midfielder Morten Frendrup who had been linked with the capital club in the summer.

The Danish midfielder is reportedly among the profiles that Gasperini is most keen on.

Meanwhile, Genoa are trying to lure Niccolo Pisilli who is a favorite of Daniele De Rossi.
