Roma monitoring alternatives to Summerville | OneFootball

Roma is waiting for a response from Summerville.

The Giallorossi club is intensifying contact with the player’s entourage and is aiming to lower the 2001-born player’s asking price from €6 million to €4 million plus bonuses.

The deal would be very costly, given that the Roman club is reportedly ready to invest €45 million on the Dutch winger, owned by West Ham.

Summerville’s agent is taking his time and testing the situation with Manchester United and Aston Villa, who had recently inquired about the deal.

Roma doesn’t want to experience a repeat of the Greenwood saga and has set itself a deadline to wait for Summerville.

As Corriere della Sera reports, the Giallorossi are also considering alternatives, starting with Garnacho, who was requested on loan from Chelsea.

The Roman club has its eye on Uzun, a 2005-born player from Eintracht Frankfurt who finished last season with 10 goals and 6 assists in 28 appearances.

They’re also keeping an eye on El Mala from Cologne, another young prospect (19) who has shown impressive qualities: 13 goals and 5 assists in 36 matches. Nusa, on the other hand, is currently a dream come true.
