Roma ‘not in talks’ for Dodo, Napoli interest noted | OneFootball

Alfredo Pedulla has rejected claims that Roma are negotiating with Fiorentina for Dodo, insisting there are no talks and no interest.

According to Football Italia, he outlined his stance on YouTube after Zeki Celik left Roma for Juventus.

Pedulla dismissed the idea that Celik’s exit had triggered a move for the Brazilian, stating firmly that the clubs have not opened discussions.

He also ruled Roma out of the running and indicated Dodo is on his way out of Fiorentina, with Napoli having tested the ground and offers from abroad on the table, while warning the situation could change quickly.

Dodo is understood to want a new challenge, and Fiorentina are holding out for around €15 million. His contract runs to 2027, with Napoli among the most persistent domestic admirers.

Roma’s interest had surfaced earlier in the window before fading, and Pedulla’s comments appear to close that avenue as other suitors continue to monitor developments.
