Roma only want to sign Inter Milan wingback Tajon Buchanan on loan during the January transfer window.
This according to Rome-based newspaper Il Messaggero, via FCInterNews. They report that the Giallorossi are not seeing a permanent deal to sign the 25-year-old Canadian international.
Reportedly, Roma have begun to show an interest in Inter wingback Buchanan.
The Canadian is not the only Nerazzurri player who has been linked with the Giallorossi this window. There have been widespread reports that they want to sign Davide Frattesi.
But Buchanan is a player who the capital club see as a versatile reinforcement for Claudio Ranieri’s squad.
Rome-based newspaper Il Messaggero confirm that Buchanan is a target for Roma.
The Giallorossi are not keen to sign the Canadian on a permanent basis, however, according to the newspaper.
Rather, Roma’s hope is simply to sign Buchanan on loan.
The Giallorossi see the Inter wingback as a potential reinforcement for the second half of the season. But they do not want to invest in signing him outright.
This could therefore make it tough for Roma to convince Inter on a deal.
Reports indicate that the Nerazzurri do not want to loan Buchanan out. They would only listen to cash offers for the former Club Brugge wingback.
