The transfer disputes between Roma and Juventus could continue.
The Giallorossi were surprised by the developments with Celik, who was expected at Trigoria to start the new season, but instead moved to Juventus thanks in part to the direction of Frederic Massara, the same director who until a few days earlier was working for the Friedkins.
D’Amico could respond by hindering the Bianconeri’s bid for Frank Kessie.
The former Atalanta midfielder is a free agent and is currently negotiating with Juventus management regarding a return to Italy. For Roma, this could become an opportunity, should Manu Koné leave.
As La Gazzetta dello Sport reports, a shared objective between the two clubs is Franck Kessie. Gian Piero Gasperini knows the player well, and he’s asking for a salary of €5-6 million.
Juventus is considering the move, while he could be a good fit for Roma should Manu Koné leave, who seems destined for the Premier League. The situation remains to be monitored.
