Sancho’s hesitations aren’t exactly a dead end; on the contrary, Massara continues to stay in touch with the player and his entourage after the Englishman hinted in calls, first with Gasperini and then with Ryan Friedkin, that he was considering Roma’s offer.

In his office, even after his words before Bologna, Massara continues to work to secure a definitive yes from the ex-Borussia Dortmund player.

Perhaps the most desperate in the stalemate is Manchester United’s management, who reached an agreement with Roma almost a month ago and is pushing for the player to leave.

Also because so far, no other club interested in the player has reached an agreement with the Red Devils.
