Roma has decided to lock down Niccolò Pisilli, effectively keeping the young midfielder off the market at least until a possible offer deemed “impossible to refuse” is received.
This clear stance confirms the club’s desire to invest in the talent developed through the Giallorossi’s youth academy.
The valuation set by the club is significant: approximately €35 million, a figure that reflects the player’s growing importance within the coaching project and the confidence placed in his development. In recent months,
Pisilli’s name has been pursued by several top clubs.
Among the teams that have shown interest are Inter, Juventus, Milan, and Porto, all of whom have monitored the midfielder’s profile for the present and future.
However, none of the interested clubs has made a concrete offer. These have been mostly preliminary inquiries and evaluations, never escalating into a full negotiation.
Roma’s stance therefore appears clear. The club considers Pisilli a key player for the team’s present and future, part of a development program that aims to develop the young players already in the squad.
Last January, the Under-21 midfielder was the subject of transfer rumors, but Gasperini himself announced during a press conference that he would remain at Trigoria.
According to today’s edition of Il Corriere dello Sport, only an exceptional offer could change the situation, but there are currently no signs of this happening. The club has no intention of parting ways with the player unless he receives an offer outside the market.
