Roma ‘to consider’ Sunderland winger Adingra as Brighton eye Bardghji | OneFootball

Roma are weighing a surprise move for Sunderland winger Simon Adingra, VoceGialloRossa reports, while Brighton have been linked with Barcelona prospect Roony Bardghji.

The Serie A club are said to see Adingra as an alternative out wide, with Antonio Nusa their main target after missing out on Mason Greenwood and Crysencio Summerville. They also hold interest in Ibrahim Mbaye.

Adingra joined the Black Cats last summer, recorded one goal and one assist in 15 appearances in all competitions, then spent the second half of the season on loan at Monaco. His future is unclear and the report says Sunderland value him at around £30m, roughly £9m profit if met.

On Bardghji, Sport claims Brighton have joined Sunderland and Leeds in the chase, and that Barcelona could authorise a deal including a buyback option.

The 20-year-old moved from FC Copenhagen last summer, delivering two goals and four assists in 28 appearances, with only 10 starts under Hansi Flick. With Anthony Gordon and Karim Adeyemi arriving, he is said to prefer a loan to prove himself before returning to Catalonia.
