Roma is putting up a wall to protect its talents.
After declaring Mile Svilar unsellable due to Juventus’ interest, the Friedkins have also rejected a substantial offer from Porto for Niccolò Pisilli.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Portuguese club was willing to offer €25 million for the 2004-born midfielder, who revitalized in the second half of the season under Gian Piero Gasperini.
The decision by the Giallorossi president confirms their desire not to let go of their squad’s most valuable assets, protecting promising youngsters ahead of next season’s Champions League fixtures.
