Alessio Romagnoli is expected to be Lazio’s first sale of the summer, opening the door for arrivals, Il Corriere dello Sport reports.

Lazio are operating on a net-zero basis, so recruits must be funded by sales and salary savings. Pedro, Elseid Hysaj and Toma Basic have already departed on free transfers, but no fee has yet been banked.

Il Corriere dello Sport says Lazio have accepted Al-Sadd’s €3 million offer for Romagnoli, a move that would also save around €5 million in gross wages. Ivan Provedel is then expected to finalise a move to Inter Milan for similar figures.

Those exits should prompt the first additions at Formello, with links to several under 23 targets including Sergi Dominguez, Diego Coppola and Luka Stojkovic. The same outlet believes 20-year-old Jonathan Asp Jensen will be the first signing, while Alfonso Pedraza will be announced first after a pre-contract agreed with the Aquile in January as his Villarreal deal approached expiry.

Il Messaggero adds that talks for Asp Jensen are the most advanced. Lazio have agreed personal terms with his entourage, the same group representing Gustav Isaksen and Oliver Provstgaard, and are now working on a deal with Bayern Munich. A €4 million fee is understood to be set, with the sell-on percentage still a sticking point.
