Romain Faivre rejoins AJ Auxerre on season-long loan from Bournemouth | OneFootball

Romain Faivre will remain at AJ Auxerre on loan for the 2026-27 season, without a purchase option. The club confirmed his return from Bournemouth on Friday.

The 27-year-old arrived in January for the run-in and will now get a full campaign in Burgundy. He is Auxerre’s first summer signing. Last term he made 10 appearances and provided two assists.

Faivre said he is keen to complete a full season and eager to see the supporters at the stadium again.

The Frenchman is seeking stability at club level. He moved to Bournemouth from Lyon in the summer of 2023, then went on loans to Lorient, Brest and Al-Taawoun before Auxerre.

He has featured only six times in England for the Cherries. This latest loan had been anticipated in recent days.
