PSG’s summer is going to be defined by what happens to some of their top attacking players. By all accounts, the Parisians would like to hold on to them, but if they’re forced to sell, the stars will be need to be replaced.

Top of the list is Bradley Barcola – a very good player who has just been at the World Cup with France, but one who can’t earn Luis Enrique’s trust to start in the biggest games. There is plenty of chatter about him leaving, and Fabrizio Romano’s latest update on the winger’s status certainly makes it sound possible.

Barcola’s future likely still at PSG – but anything possible

Romano says that Barcola’s entourage is set to “hold talks” with PSG in the next few days to decide his future. The winger is “not untouchable”, but an interested team would clearly have to make a massive offer if they want PSG to sell.

Talks over a new contract are “at a standstill”, and it will be interesting to see what could potentially break the deadlock.

Ferran Torres is looking more and more like he could be available this summer due to his contract situation, and PSG might decide to take advantage of that.

PSG have decided not to pursue Ayyoub Bouaddi, according to a source who is very close to the team. They have instead secured Fabian Ruiz with a contract extension.
