Ronaldo to meet familiar face as Al-Nassr vs Al-Akhdoud referee confirmed | OneFootball

According to Goal.com, the Saudi Arabian Football Federation has appointed Khalid Al-Taris to referee Saturday's Roshen League meeting between Al-Nassr and Al-Akhdoud.

Al-Nassr travel to Prince Hazloul bin Abdulaziz Sports City Stadium in Najran for the 28th-round fixture.

Al-Taris will be assisted by Mohammed Al-Abkari and Abdulrahim Al-Shammari. Sami Al-Jaris will lead the video assistant referee, with Saad Al-Subaie as his assistant, and Abdullah Al-Kharboush as fourth official.

The referee also handled Ronaldo's Al-Nassr debut against Al-Ittifaq on 22 January 2023, in matchday 14 of the 2022-2023 Roshen League.

He was also in charge for the 1-1 draw with Al-Raed on 22 August 2024, matchday one of 2024-2025, when the Portuguese forward reached 50 league goals. On that day he controversially ruled out a second Ronaldo effort for offside, a decision many viewed as incorrect.
