Emotions were running high after Martina Rosucci signed a contract renewal with Juventus Women, extending her ties with the Bianconere until 30 June, 2026.
After putting pen to paper, Martina shared her thoughts and feelings.
“It really is one of those bonds, a bit like family. Living eight years, almost nine, every day with Juventus, has been like living with a person and now that thing has become part of me, part of my daily life. Right now, I couldn’t imagine my day-to-day without going to Vinovo.
“This renewal has a different value to the others, when I was younger and had more dreams. Now I’m older, I still dream, but this renewal is tied to the word ‘stay’ for me, and how important it is. It’s a word you don’t hear much anymore, it’s hard to stay. For me, staying here is a choice, staying with this club is something great that makes me feel very proud.”
“The first Scudetto, which we won on penalties against Brescia. I remember it with a lot of emotion.
"Another unforgettable moment was beating Wolfsburg 2-0 in Germany in 2021 and qualifying for the quarter-finals of the Women’s Champions League. That day we beat a prestigious European team and it was the first time in my career that I felt competitive at that international level.”
“We all, excluding nobody, knows the team’s goals. The personal objectives go in that same direction, and I hope to do well in Europe next year too. I hope to be out on the pitch every day, in every game, as the coach decides. But I want to be there every day.”
“Anybody who comes to the training centre needs to know what Juventus is. I was a Juventus fan, but I didn’t know what Juventus was when I first arrived. Thanks to Stefano Braghin I understood when I got here what it means to be part of this club.
"For me it’s important that everybody feels this, these things I’ve learned to feel and which are now inside me. I think this is also probably part of my role and I like it, I think by now it’s stitched into me.”
