Flags and flares coloured the scene outside the ground.

Supporters placed a banner on a nearby bridge reading: "Com fé, coragem e união, faremos do Porto campeão".

The blue and white following provided a show of backing around the stadium.

The welcome came as the team bus arrived at the Dragão.
