Ruddy Buquet to referee OL v Laval in Coupe de France last 16 | OneFootball

Ruddy Buquet will take charge of OL’s Coupe de France last 16 tie against Laval at Groupama Stadium on Wednesday at 20:30.

According to Le Progres, he will be assisted by Alexis Auger and Steven Torregrossa, with Florent Batta as fourth official.

VAR will only be in operation from the quarter-finals, which OL hope to reach by beating their Ligue 2 opponents.

This will be only the second time Buquet has overseen OL this season. The first came at Rennes on 14 September, a 3-1 defeat.

That night included a red card for Tyler Morton with the score at 0-0, and a studs-first challenge by Anthony Rouault on Khalis Merah in the 18th minute that went unpunished and was not picked up by VAR official Stéphanie Frappart.
