Coventry City beat Derby County 3-2 to stay top of the Championship, with substitute Jack Rudoni deciding the game late on.
Frank Onyeka opened the scoring in the 12th minute, guiding the ball in after a set piece. Ben Brereton Díaz levelled with a close-range header (38.).
After the restart, the hosts introduced three substitutes around the hour mark and the change paid off. Rudoni swept Coventry City back in front from the centre of the box (68.).
Derby hit back when Brereton Díaz won a penalty after Carl Rushworth fouled him, and the Chile international converted from the spot (77.). Moments later, Milan Van Ewijk's cross found Rudoni, who finished low for the winner (80.).
Richard O'Donnell made four saves as Derby worked to contain the hosts. Rushworth denied Jaydon Banel before the interval, and the leaders' defence then held firm under late pressure.
Coventry City produced 13 attempts with seven on target. Derby mustered eight efforts, three on target.
Next, Coventry City visit Hull. Derby host Stoke.
