Rui Costa set out Benfica’s interim figures, with the club saying in a statement it made a profit of €29m for the first half of 2025/26.
The period runs from one July to 31 December 2025.
The release includes the club’s individual accounts prepared under the Sistema de Normalização Contabilística (SNC), applying the Método da Equivalência Patrimonial (MEP), and consolidated accounts drawn up in line with IFRS.
The information was reviewed by the Fiscal Council, though it has not been audited.
An early consolidated view for the first half was provided, with full-year consolidated accounts to be presented to the club’s General Assembly following the new statutes taking effect.
Recurring operating expenses total €30m, up two percent on €29.4m a year earlier, and the rise was lower than the growth in revenue.
