Ryan Friedkin has recently taken to the field to personally build two of the most important deals of the upcoming transfer window: Mason Greenwood and Kerim Alajbegovic.
The Roma vice president has carried out diplomatic work.
The Giallorossi’s objective is clear: reach an agreement with the fathers/agents of the two players identified to strengthen Gasperini’s squad and then move on to the decisive phase with the respective clubs that own their contracts (Marseille, Bayer Leverkusen).
Roma has already taken concrete steps with the agents of Mason Greenwood and Kerim Alajbegovic.
As reported by Corriere dello Sport, both fathers-in-law have received detailed information about Trigoria and what awaits them once they move to the capital.
Greenwood’s agent even provided an overview of housing options for his son.
In short, the Giallorossi are doing a detailed job, sending a clear message: they are strongly targeting the Marseille winger and Alajbegovic.
Gasperini wants Greenwood and isn’t hiding it; in March, he approved the deal for the Bosnian midfielder, born in 2007. There is a preliminary agreement with Roma for both players.
Adding the cost of their two contracts (€55 + €25), the cost for the Roma players will be very expensive.
However, the Giallorossi have already convinced the players’ families by explaining the project to them; now phone calls and video calls are no longer enough. The decisive move is missing.
