A West Midlands Railway spokesperson said services may be busier than usual today with Walsall and Wolves both at home in pre-season friendlies.

Walsall host Notts County at Bescot Stadium from three pm.

Wolverhampton Wanderers face Racing Santander at Molineux from five pm.

Rail links between Birmingham New Street, Wolverhampton and Walsall may see heavier demand, particularly on the Walsall to Wolverhampton line.

The operator highlighted a regional double header of pre-season action.
