Salah-Eddine is not part of Gian Piero Gasperini’s coaching plan.
The left-back, a key figure during the World Cup with Morocco, is still on the way out after returning from his loan spell at PSV. Roma are looking for the best way to capitalize on his potential.
The 2002-born player could soon leave the capital, as he’s being eyed by several foreign clubs, including Olympiacos. In his last spell in the Netherlands, he played 25 games (1,630 minutes), earning one assist, three yellow cards, and one red card.
The connection between the Giallorossi and the 2002-born player has never clicked. After a year on loan at PSV, the Dutch full-back is expected to leave the capital permanently.
The Giallorossi management has reached an agreement with Olympiacos for around €7-8 million. Is it all done? Absolutely not.
As Filippo Biafora reports, Salah Eddine has not yet agreed to join Olympiacos despite a basic understanding between the clubs.
The 2002-born player was already unsure about staying in the Netherlands for PSV, and Roma hopes the deal doesn’t fall through because the player wants to move elsewhere. The Moroccan full-back is completely out of Gasperini’s plan.
