Arsenal entertained Manchester City at the Emirates Stadium earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The Gunners made a slow start to the contest and conceded the opening goal in the ninth minute when Erling Haaland found the back of the net. Mikel Arteta’s men failed to come up with a response and went into the half-time break 1-0 down on the scoreline.
The Gunners were dominant in the second half and finally managed to score the equaliser thanks to Gabriel Martinelli’s excellent chip in injury time. The match finished with Arsenal securing a hard-fought 1-1 draw at the Emirates.
Raya made a couple of solid saves at the back but would not be pleased about conceding such an early goal.
